It features a separately applied walkway platform, manway, outlet, ladders, brake rigging detail, safety rail supports, tank saddles and printed placards, plus photo-etched walkways and end platforms with wire safety rails and end handrails. The car rides on 100-ton roller bearing trucks and 36-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, and is weighted for smooth, reliable running. Body-mounted McHenry operating scale couplers, a highly detailed injection-molded body, and realistic painting and printing complete the look. With an 18-inch minimum radius, this tank car fits a wide range of HO layouts.
