An HO-scale FMC 4700 Covered Hopper in WEIX markings, road number WEIX #1002, designed to bring authentic mid-century freight service to HO-scale layouts.

Built for realistic operation, it features separately applied brake gear with complete components, 100-ton trucks with 36-inch nickel-silver wheels in RP25 contours, factory-applied roof walk and end details, ladders and wire grab irons, plus see-through etched end platforms and roof walkways. The model rides on body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, is weighted for smooth handling, and carries a minimum radius of 18 inches for compatibility with common HO layouts. It’s primed for grime, providing a ready starting point for weathering to reproduce wear and rust seen on in-service equipment.
