HO-scale Athearn 4-4-0 steam locomotive, Santa Fe SLSF #96. Fully assembled and ready to run, this model captures the late-19th-century look with see-through cab windows, separately applied wire-form details, a smoke stack, and a boiler-mounted bell. Bi-directional LED headlights stay bright in either direction, and a five-pole motor with machined flywheels and a multi-link drive ensures smooth, dependable operation. A heavy die-cast frame adds traction, while traction tires on two driving wheels boost pulling power. McHenry operating-scale knuckle couplers and electrical pickup from all drive wheels and tender wheels support reliable coupling and power on most layouts.
