The car includes photo-etched metal walkways and end platforms, wire safety rails and end handrails, printed placards, and screw-mounted 100-ton roller bearing trucks. Machined metal wheels run on Code 55 and 80 rails, and the model is weighted for reliable operation. The injection-molded body is painted and printed for realistic decoration, and it tolerates tight curves with a minimum radius of 11 inches. Body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers provide authentic coupling while keeping couplers neatly out of sight.
