HO RTR SW1500 Locomotive Cotton Belt (SSW) #2487 (ATH28661)

HO-scale Cotton Belt SW1500 Switcher locomotive in SSW livery, a ready-to-run model that recreates late-1960s switching power. It features SP-style lighting with gyralights, a P-3 horn, Flexicoil trucks, footboard pilots, pilot face grab irons, early cut levers and corner frame gussets, plus a 1,100-gallon fuel tank and a fully detailed cab interior. It arrives fully assembled and ready to run.

Inside and out, the model is designed for authentic operation: a detailed cab interior, hoses with silver glad hands, front and rear trainline hoses, MU stands, separately applied grab irons, see-through radiator grille and cab windows, exhaust stacks, and optional low- or high-mounted windshield wipers, plus builder’s plates and printed numberboards. It rides on RP25-contour wheels and uses McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee compatible) with all-wheel drive and electrical pickup for smooth performance. DCC-ready versions include a 21-pin plug and Quick Plug, while sound-equipped models feature Tsunami2 sound with dual cube speakers and operate in both DC and DCC, with NMRA compatibility in DCC. New features include operating ground lights, a more powerful can motor, and LED lighting; some lighting functions (F5/F6) are available in DCC. The minimum operating radius is 18 inches.
