Powered by a newly designed, more powerful and quieter can motor, it delivers smooth, quiet operation with all-wheel drive and precision gearing. The locomotive features metal grab irons, fine-scale handrails, see-through etched radiator fans and cab windows, RP25-contoured wheels for compatibility with most HO track brands, and McHenry scale knuckle couplers that are Kadee compatible. DCC-ready versions include a 21-pin plug for easy decoder installation, while sound-equipped models use Tsunami2 DCC/Sound with a cube speaker to reproduce engine, horn, and bell sounds on DC or DCC layouts. LED lighting provides long-life illumination, and the injection-molded body is painted and decorated for realism. With an 18-inch minimum radius, it’s suitable for a wide range of HO track layouts.
