It features a precision die-cast spine frame, separately applied brake piping, fine ladder detail, and McHenry scale knuckle spring couplers installed. The model rolls on 33-inch nickel-silver wheels with RP25 contours for smooth operation on most HO track. Trailer hitches come separately in raised and collapsed configurations so they can be attached to suit preference. Etched metal walkways, weighted construction for steady performance, and a minimum turning radius of 20 inches support realistic handling. It’s designed to carry 40-foot trailers and intermodal containers, capturing the look and capability of modern intermodal service.
