Prototype features include the 88-inch nose with brake wheel, Stratolight beacon, tall ditch lights, large Sinclair antenna, relocated P3 horn, and extended-range dynamic brakes, as well as fine-scale handrails, photo-etched windshield wipers, and see-through dynamic brake fans. The model runs on RP25 wheels with nickel-plated, blackened machined wheels, offers all-wheel-drive with a 5-pole motor for smooth, quiet operation, and is DCC-ready with a 21-pin NEM Quick Plug. It includes a built-in Tsunami2 sound decoder, with sound and lighting functions operable in both DC and DCC modes, and is best suited for HO layouts with a 22-inch minimum radius.
