VersaCoil gondolas use a transverse trough design to hold coils from 30' to 72', improving loading efficiency and reducing edge damage from train slack. The model reproduces four of the five VersaCoil phases, including Phase 2 MBKX with removable hoods, and features detailed underbody work, etched platforms, hoses, and other prototypical touches. It runs on standard HO track with an 18-inch minimum radius and 22 inches recommended for the smoothest performance.
