This version recreates UP’s Challenger in its late-20th-century excursion form, powered by an oil burner, and offers a convincing centerpiece for mainline-style layouts from the 1980s to the 2000s.
Highlights include illuminated number boards and headlights, a reverse-off headlight, and a tender back-up light, plus pivoting front and rear engines to handle 18-inch-radius curves.
