Designed for safety and convenience, this pack uses a universal G-Tech balance connector with an integrated ID chip that communicates with G-Tech chargers to apply the correct charging parameters automatically. When paired with a G-Tech supported charger, Auto Charge Technology makes charging plug-and-play, and the ID chip stores data such as battery chemistry, specifications, and recommended charging parameters to prevent user errors. Although optimized for G-Tech chargers, the battery remains compatible with other chargers as well, though manual programming is required in those cases. The electronics-free design minimizes parasitic drain, while onboard indicators show charge level in four 25% steps and monitor cell balance and voltage. Self-storage mode engages after five days if the per-cell voltage exceeds 3.95V, bringing the pack to 3.95V per cell for safe long-term storage, and an overcharge cut-off protects the battery from charging faults. A rugged hardcase completes the package by protecting the cells during hard use in the field.
