RealFlight Trainer Edition RC flight simulation software is a beginner-friendly RC flight simulator that helps new pilots learn to fly with fewer crashes by practicing on a computer before taking to the field. Built for Windows PCs and distributed through Steam, it provides a realistic training environment you can run at home using a compatible controller to mirror real-world stick inputs and aircraft handling.
Included are six beginner-friendly trainer aircraft from Blade, E-flite, and HobbyZone, all equipped with SAFE Technology to aid stability: Blade 230 S V2 Helicopter with SAFE Technology; E-flite Apprentice STS 1.5m with SAFE Technology; E-flite Habu STS 70mm EDF Jet with SAFE Technology; HobbyZone Carbon Cub S with SAFE Technology; HobbyZone AeroScout S with SAFE Technology; and HobbyZone Sport Cub S with SAFE Technology. It also features Virtual Flight Instructor lessons to guide newcomers. The software works with the Spektrum InterLink DX Simulator Controller (sold separately) or a WS2000 USB dongle with a compatible transmitter, and can be upgraded to the full RealFlight edition via Steam for access to more than 160 aircraft and 40+ sites, plus editing tools, multiplayer and VR support. The trainer edition runs on Windows 7, 8 or 10, offering a structured, forgiving path from first flights to confident piloting.
