Blunni BlU-2200 Baldwin Sound Decoder is a universal-style locomotive sound module for HO and small S-scale models. It operates in DC, DCC, and wireless modes and can be controlled with the Blunami app on iOS devices; wireless control for Android devices is not available at this time.
It offers a large sound library and realistic detail: ten exhaust chuffs, up to twelve prime movers per profile, up to twelve bells, ninety whistles, and more than forty air horns, plus extras like couplers, dynamos, cab chatter, and additional effects. A Dynamic Digital Exhaust (DDE) feature automatically modulates exhaust notes to reflect throttle load for a convincing sense of engine work as the train climbs grades or accelerates. Installation is versatile: it can plug into models with a DCC quick plug or be wired to an NMRA 8-pin plug using a 9-pin JST harness. The decoder is a 2-amp universal-style unit and includes a connector to add a CurrentKeeper to maintain performance on dirty track and through switches.
